Henry Connor Bost

House & Farm

Built in 1869,

the Henry Connor Bost House and Farm was one of the few homes built in Rowan County in the years immediately following the Civil War.

The property was purchased by

Dr. and Mrs. Donald Henry Lomax in 1961 and its ownership remains in the Lomax family.

The house is on the National Historic Register, and the land is protected by the Land Trust for Central North Carolina.

The house has been lovingly restored to its original glory with heart pine floors, original woodwork and brickwork.

Featuring 135 acres of private, rolling pastures and woodlands, white picket fences, and an aged red barn, the Henry Connor Bost House & Farm is the perfect place to host your dream wedding or event.

Located 6 miles from Salisbury, the farm is  less than 45 minutes from Charlotte, Greensboro, and

Winston-Salem.
